In my studio, I use a Casio CDP-S350. I got it because it’s super lightweight: just 24 pounds! It can also run on batteries and has built-in speakers. I use it mostly as a MIDI controller these days, but it’s nice to have a backup sound when other tech is failing me. The hammer-action keys feel really nice – fairly heavy for a keyboard.
